Does anyone dilute oxi-clean and make their own spray remover? I am tired of paying for stain removers and want an alternative.

I haven't tried it with Oxyclean. I do soaking in Oxyclean as they recommend and it works for some stains not for others.
I got this stain recipe from the the Tightwad Gazette:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup wisk or other detergent (I use liquid Tide)
1/2 cup ammonia
Shake up in a spray bottle and use. I reuse the shout or spray n wash bottles. It really works well, though I am not sure if ammonia is really considered "healthy home" friendly. I was just thinking about posting that as a query here.
I am addicted to easy stain removal and love the type that you just spray on.
By the way, does anyone know a substitute for ammonia in this recipe?
