I kinda have a feeling I'm going to go early...

I'm not sure why exactly... maybe it's because this pregnancy feels so different. I know the second one will probably be different than the first in most women, but I am feeling a lot more cervical pressure and pains in my pelvis, despite my carrying somewhat high. I was a week late with DS, and it was induced because of my high BP. I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything either, it's just a feeling I have I guess! I did not get these types of cervical sensations/pressure with DS until maybe 37-38 weeks and I'm 34 tomorrow.

I don't think I'm going to go into labor today or anything like that, but maybe in a few weeks? Anyone else have thoughts or their own predictions about this based on how you're feeling right now?

I could have written this thread myself! I too was telling Chris, I just have this feeling that baby will come early, not as in today or even next week, but feel EXACTLY as you do, and feel the exact same symptoms as you.. I wonder

I am hoping for a wee bit late...or very close to my due date. I was a few days *late* with our first, so I am hoping this one takes after big brother.

Crazy. I have been feeling the same way. Actually I've been feeling like he will be early all along, just in a based-on-nothing, have-a-feeling kind of way, but now I am starting to have a lot of the same symptoms you mentioned. Of course, this is my first, so what do I know?! In a lot of ways I'm hoping he comes early, but there's already not much longer to wait, so I'm a bit nervous about it too.

I never, ever go early but I'm nesting like a maniac. So - if I didn't know better I would think I was going to go early Alas I know I'll be here until at least Feb 1 but probably more like the 10th or 11th. I hope things stay orderly and clean until then (ya, right!)

Me too on the nesting! I always go to or past my due date, but I've had a few feelings this time that it may be closer to the due date if not a little before for some reason. Of course I'm probably wrong and will end up going 2 wks late or something knowing me. I'm glad the nesting is kicking in, because it's such a great feeling to have a clean, organized house. Dh and the kids pitched in and helped me today, and the house is shining! I'm like you though, I hope things stay clean for another 4wks, but ya right! Maybe we'll have continual nesting urges up till the due date.

I think my *natural* cleaning frenzy usually starts after Christmas through mid January anyway b/c of Christmas and b/c January tends to be on the slower side for us so that could be the reason for my extra nesting while pg. Either way things are shaping up. Unfortunately my back is KILLING me!

i feel the same way...that I will have this baby early. The BH contrax are coming more often and sooner than with Ashlynn and I just have a "feeling". Plus Ashlynn was 1 wk early. Time will tell...

I too will probably go early as I am carrying twins so normal gestation is 37 weeks but unfortunately Christmas Day I lost my mucus plug.: I hope to hold out at least another week as I am only 32 weeks but will be 33 weeks this Friday so they would be 4 weeks early at worst, but that's bad enough!!!
