MW had to cancel, Doula already on her way...

What a day! Well, it isn't even 9am yet!
My mw threw her back out or over exherted herself and just called to say she was not able to come today. My doula and mw were going to be meeting this morning for the first time and my doula was already on her way (she lives about 45 mintues from here).
I don't know if my labor support people will ever be in the same place until the birth! My dh can't make any of the mw appts b/c he does not want to loose working days, he does not really have any reason to be here, but the mw wants to meet him. I'm glad he didn't take today off b/c he would have been a bit peeved.
I guess it does not matter. I don't think my "doula" and mw met before the birth last time.
I hope my mw gets to her chiro today and gets some relief, I think every one of her prego moms can sympathize with her! I know I can.
She rescheduled for the 2nd, my parents might be here - that could be good or bad.... My parents and hbing do not mesh...

That's frustrating! I hope you're able to get them together before the birth but if not, I'm sure it'll be fine

I'm having a hard time getting my mw and doula together too. It was all worked out for our home visit tomorrow night, but th mws had to cancel that meeting. My doula said she should be able to rearrange her schedule for the day of the new home visit, let's hope so!
