In an earlier post, several of us were complaining that our babies feel wet much of the time. I felt if I didn't change Ingrid every hour, she was too wet or poopy when I did change her.
I just wanted to mention that I found a diaper that is working for us. It can be heavy and soaked, and her bottom is dry. Last night I changed her at 10:30 PM and not again until 5:30 AM. They are pricey, but really nice- wish I had known about them to put on my baby shower registry. They are BumGenius 2.0 diapers. I'm justifying their expense (I only bought 3) b/c they are one size -- they fit her now and supposedly will until she weighs 35 lbs. The One Size diapers are also an All in One, so they are super simple to use.
You can find them here.

I've also had some success with doublers and prefolds. I bought some cheap doublers on the same site- they were seconds.
I'm sure there are plenty of other methods that work for people- this is just what I have found so far.
