slamming feet/legs down on to bed

Erin sleeps on her back mostly... over the last few weeks, mostly when she's on the verge of sleep she'll raise her legs up to the ceiling (her body makes a 90 degree angle, it's pretty amazing) & then slams her feet down. I can't believe it doesn't wake her up!

Anybody else seen this?

At least every morning around 4:30am Nate wakes up and does this for a little while and of course kicks the hell out of me in the process...drives me crazy! But since the other boys went through a stage when they did it too I just try to get out of the way. FWIW, my almost 3 year old STILL does this occasionally in the middle of the night!

Dominic does this too!! It is incredible! And he will only do it in bed at night. Not during naptime, not on the floor in or anywhere else. Just when we lay him down between us in bed at night. He has no interest in rolling over, but he is starting to realize that he can move by doing this and "chases" me in bed at night.
