Positive energy please - need partner at delivery

HI Ladies,
I usually just post questions...not updates or anything but I need all the positive energy possible. I am engaged to a Colombian citizen who is STILL in Colombia. I thought I'd be picking ihm up today from the airport but the US embassy requested more evidence of our relationship and evidence of him traveling to Ecuador and the time spent there when we met. So, he had to reschedule a follow up and they gave him 1/23/07 which means that he can be here on 1/25/07. Anyway, I'm due 2/6/07 and it would be GREAT if he can actually get here prior to the baby coming. My DS was induced when I was 10 days "overdue" but I know every pregnancy is different.

positive energy coming your way. i know how hard bureaucracy can be -- i can't imagine being pregnant and waiting for my partner who is stuck out of the country.

i hope everything goes smoothly!

Need partner at delivery update!

Tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. EST is my fiance's follow up interview with the US Embassy in Colombia. My affirmation/prayer is that this process from beginning to end will be super-easy and successful. As long as he is approved tomorrow, he can get here Thursday, 1/25 - 11 days before baby is due. Please put us in your thoughts tonight or early morning!

Lots of positive thoughts coming your way!!! I really am hoping it all works out and he can be here! (Sometimes our government is such a UA violation... they gave one of the dead 9-11 hijackers a visa, yet will not allow the father of your baby to come here?)

His VISA was APPROVED!!!!!!

Ladies, Thank you so much! His Visa was approved and he will pick it up tomorrow at 4p.m. Now the last stretch is getting him through the nice immigration people at the Miami International Airport so he can make it to DC on Thursday.

I'm so excited - I dreamt all night about him at that embassy.
