Only a few days left in December....

So, who is left?

ME, obviously! I am hoping this little girl will make her entrance tonight or tomorrow. I think my water kinda broke a little last night (I had a splurt! Complete with puddle on the bed! Definitely not urine!) but it is not leaking or anything right now. I'm having fairly strong uterine activity regularly, so hopefully something is going on.

Who else???

I'm here. I'd love it if today were the day, but I don't have any reason to hope it will be, lol.

Here! We have been telling baby how GREAT life is on the "outside" to try and encourage him/het to join us. No luch so far. Now our Doula will be out of town and we have a back up Not that I don't like her, but we were hoping for Doula #1. Oh well....

Dr. said he was happy with Tuesdays BPP but the baby's size has him "conserned". Like we don't know NOT to trust those things He said we have some long talking to do on Tuesday in Baby does not show up before then.

On a GREAT note..

When I got home from the OB today, I did have some slight "show" and my ctx's are seeming more productive today (yesterday I was at about every 3 minutes, but they didn't hurt at ALL). I am only at 1 1/2-2 cm though (I know I know, that doesn't really mean ANYTHING! DH keeps telling me that!)

Let's all get a move on Mama's!!!!

Oh and if ONE MORE person says anything about the tax deduction.....

I am the one who mentions the tax deduction here when they say oh a New Year's baby.

I really thought that yesterday was the day. Bloody show, 4 minute apart contractions, then it slowed to about 20 minutes apart most of the day with a few closer together, last night same thing, get up at 5 something and eat, then basically nothing all day except I have gotten a lot of rest/sleep so I am thinking that is good. I hadn't gotten much sleep the last two nights because of contractions, so maybe tonight I will be rested enough to go for it for real. I just haven't heard of such a long stall/stop.

So I am still here.

Ha! I am tired of people asking, too, especially as they always ask when "they" will be delivering the baby. "They?" They WHO exactly? *I* am delivering my baby. My MW will catch my baby, unless my husband gets there first! But it's amazing in talking to other people how far removed they are from the process of their own birth. It's like, well, at 40 wks you just go in and let "THEM" take over. "THEY" know what to do. *sigh*

My BPP today was good, and my MW swept my membranes and stretched me out to 3cm! That *hurt* but if it gets things going, totally worth it. I'm having lots of bloody show now, plus crampy contractions, so here's hoping! I'm going to go bounce on my birth ball

BTW I don't think any mamas who've been posting here all along need to jump into the Jan DDC, unless you want to!!!!
