Yep, it was pretty cool. I just want to touch on this "knowing" feeling for a minute. When I feel I know something, I have this strange almost -but -maybe- not -quite -giddy feeling that swells up full in my chest. It's too strong to be ignored and I found my attention being yanked back to it when I tried to put it off because I was busy. This is a feeling that doesn't go away until I do whatever it is I "need" to do.

I sort of suspect that everyone has an "I just know" feeling that may be unique to them. The tricky part can be recognizing that feeling from something else.

I was reading about the Million Dollar Experiment a few minutes ago, walked into my room, and found two dollars bills in a drawer.

I posted this in the As You Wish thread, but then it turned into a success so I figured I should add it here:

My friend just called me and said she had some business for me. She has a case where a guardianship is needed, and she needs an attorney to bring the g'ship, so that she can be the guardian. And guess who the attorney to bring the guaridianship is going to be? ME! That's about 10 hours of work. And getting my name out there with an agency that I want to work with more in the future.

It wasn't the same situation as the one I was working on manifesting, but it was a very good development indeed! And I am very thankful for it.

I'm posting here because the other thread seems too long.

Where do you think I should start? Something little - like more laughter or big like a new job? Or little - smooth day care pick-ups or big - a clean orderly house. I just don't even know where to start.

after the mantra "unexpected checks come in the mail" and someone's suggestion about looking for $ from other sources....I remembered a rewards program linked to our checking acct...got a $75 gift mastercard. It was supposed to take 3-4 weeks, got in less than one week. DH thanked me for that last night, and said " I thought you'd gone off your rocker and then BAM we got it, what a help its been towards food"
AND I have a $40 coming for Target....mama needs undies and SHOES! (shoes first?)

For me, I needed to start with the small things as a kind of *test* if you will. The first thing I did after watching The Secret was intend dh to bring home flowers. Well, I was thinking of some specifically for me, but instead he brought home a couple of potted plants to hang outside.

Still, though, he *did* bring home flowers.

Right now I'm practicing being specific.

I love manifesting really exciting things

I'm going up to visit some friends who live in the mountains tomorrow. We're having a pretty warm winter, so they haven't got any snow yet (normally, it would have snowed at least a month ago).

I decided I wanted snow to be on the ground this weekend. I checked the forecast, and snow wasn't in it at all, but I knew I was going to see snow.

I'm chatting with one of my friends who lives up there, and their power has gone out three times in the last 10 minutes due to...what else?!...snow! The forecast changed within the last hour to show snow, and the temperature dropped two degrees in the last 15 minutes.

Well I manifested someone on MDC today!

I used to belong to another message board but disabled my account a month or two ago, I have been emailing a friend from there but for some reason my emails have been bouncing and I was wondering how I was going to get in contact with her (she was emailing me and I couldn't reply) and went through all my options with nothing really going to work - well....I was browsing the GD forum and noticed that she had joined and made a post, so I was able to PM her through MDC. I don't often browse that forum and neither does she so the chance of us reading the same post wasn't too promising!

I've now watched the Google video version 3 times and even dh has watched it too. I bought the Esther Hicks book yesterday, so will check that out once I get the chance.

Weight Loss

As most of you know. I watched The Secret for the First time in May (06).

I then proceeded to watch it about a billion times.

In late July I woke up with a bee in my bonnet to clear out the clothes that I was saving for when I get thin again. I gave away all of them. I mean literally all of them. Even the clothes that I had emotional memories of really good times, etc.. you know the cute outfit I wore on my honeymoon, etc... Released all of them... with the intent... I WILL LOSE WEIGHT AND GET NEW CLOTHES AND NEW GREAT TIMES.

I just knew all those close were holding me back. Silly, right?

In September I started a weight loss program.
I have lost weight every week.
Sometime is is a couple pounds.
Sometime is is 1 pound.
A couple times it was literally 1/2 pound.
But I never cared as long as it was down.
I only get weighed once a week btw.

I have now lost 26.6 pounds. I am at least 1/2 way through to my goal weight.

it has been really painless btw.

(by the way--cuz I know people usually ask me.. I did it through these people. I get all my meals through them and I go to a local doctor for weigh ins and support group)

I was on my way to a party, late, and I manifested completely clear roads and everyone else being later than me!
Sounds really silly, but there should have been traffic, and these were not the type of people who are usually late so I was amazed and very happy

So are others manifesting multiple big things at once or just one major change at a time? I've got my big item (material item) I want to manifest, but find all the little daily spontaneous things coming easily at this point or does it really not matter - like, put it all out to the universe and it will all come back?

I have a few questions about the movie.

There was one part of the movie perhaps about a quarter of the way through where it mentions everyone getting something *3* times...does anyone know what I'm talking about? What was the meaning with that statement, I keep missing the point when I watch it, but don't go back and watch it.

Second question, throughout the movie it's put across that material items can be manifested no problem, I get that, but then one of the teachers says something like "you will only create what is within your means of creating" money wise, as in it's only going to be created if you have the ability anyhow. Thoughts?

I think that lines up with what Esther Hicks says ...Ask and Receiving need to be in alignment. A person can ask for something but if they don't have their receptivity up to the level of what they are asking for they won't get it....

After seeing The Secret, I wrote 5,000,000 on a $5.00 bill. I also said the mantra people love to send me money. Since then, I got a check in the mail from my grandmother (for a bike for dd), another check from grandma, and a check from MIL (who never gives money), as well as cash from mil and aunt when visiting them. Today, we went to lunch with dh, and a man walked over and gave us 20.00 cause we have such a considerate dd (she switched seats with her brother so he would be happy). Wow! It sure does work! I spent the $5 on New Years Day, so we'll see.

Also, we wanted to get a kitchen for kids for Christmas. Dh said he would see about making it with a friend of his. Of course he waited until the weekend before X-mas and it fell through. My mother then calls me up and says she wants to buy the kids a kitchen, have we been eyeing one in particular? We have a beautiful wooden kitchen that, amazingly, came into ours lives.

I've been having a really difficult time with staying positive. Not just staying positive, but believing. There's always this little doubt in the back of my mind messing me up. Another problem I've been having is I don't know what I want. I know alot of what I don't want, but not what I want.

Today I manifested two things. The other day when I was feeling super positive after watching, I was thinking of the different things I'd like. A friend was one of them. I didn't really envision who'd they be exactly, just that I wanted one. The only thing I did envision that I'd want is that they'd be Russian and have a daughter. I ran to the library today to pick up some books while my dd was taking a nap and dh was willing to stay home and watch her. And guess who I found? A Russian woman and her three year old daughter!!!!!!!!!! In our small town! We talked for such a long time and exchanged emails.

And then afterwards I came home, picked up dd and headed to grocery shop and manifested the perfect parking space!
