Assuming you live in a place that needs heat... where do you set it to?
We installed a programmable thermostat and have it set to 60F during the day and 55F at night, and between 11am-1pm it also dips down to 55F just to save a little money. But, it isn't working that way cause we often crank it up to 63F or 65F (manual override of the programming). I don't know if we are just being frivolous or if people usually keep their house warmer than we do. (Both me and DH work from home, so all 3 of us, including DD, are home all day).

However, the thermostat has to get to 66 before the heat kicks on.
We just bought it in Oct. and our furnace is over 30 years old, so we need a new one. *Sigh* We have so much work to do- the joys of being a homeowner.
