Some of you have been very busy posting here.

So sorry af found you yogachick.

I have been so sick lately. : : I even had dh stay home from work yesterday - at least his classes do not start until Monday. This has been a rough week. We even had poop in the tub last night thanks to our littlest. At least I wasn't in with her this time.

I was up sick so much last night so I did not test this am. I think I am 14 dpo and there is still no visit by af. If she stays away I will test in the am and post pronto.

this is my first month temping, i was doing the same, just CM. i didn't have the O pains though so it's nice you can know without worrying about temping!

I'd love to hear your opinions. I'm thinking I should put myself in the 2ww.
i don't see the temp jump to indicate O. I'd wait a bit for the TWW. everything looks good though. do you typically O later?

hooray sarah! don't get used to it. Gracie goes through stages. Lately she's been going down awake without a peep(actually pulls us to her crib when she's ready! She loves her crib.) and waking a few times at night, but going right back to sleep. She woke up last night, we went to get her, and she had fallen back asleep already-sitting up!

Jill, I didn't say that well. She wasn't up for the day at 2:30 last night. I don't mind night waking to nurse but I DO mind getting 3 and 4 hours of sleep a night! I'm a 9 or 10 hour kind of girl!

Going to sleep with out being nursed down! WOW How in the world does that happen? Last night was actualy a first for that too. She fell asleep on DH's chest. We were shocked! She ended up getting back up for a couple more hours but it was a step!

Your dd sounds so much more mature than 1!!
uh really i don't know how she does it! She's very independent and really wants to do "her" thing. Always has. She's not liking mamamilk right now either.

I just got the call from the doctor, my results were negative The nurse seemed surprised that my period still hasn't come, and I'm on hold right now.

sarah and yogachick - I don't know if I've o'd in the past. I've never had o pains in my life and never had a positive OPK either this time or while TTC DD. I just so want to be pregnant already... The FF interpretator says O might likely occur between 20th and 22nd. I hope so. My cycles on average do tend to be longer ones so maybe...

mommajb and yogachick -

I've been thinking about night weaning. DD nurses to sleep so I still wake in the night quite often. 3-4 times most nights. She nurses about 3-4 times during the day for maybe five minutes each time. I'm ready for her to learn self soothing. We co-sleep, so I know this will be a challenge. I wonder sometimes if she wakes up just because she knows I'm there. Like, I can get her to sleep around 8:30pm and she will sleep until sometime between midnight and 2:00 most of the time. Then, it's about every 2 hours from there. I go to be around 11:30 or midnight. any suggestions. We are visiting my mom right now, so the plan is to help her find another way to get off to sleep when we get home starting tomorrow. I'm not ready to fully wean, but definitely for the night.

- firstkid4me... I hope everything is okay. I will keep you in my prayers.

She talked to me about my results with dd (faint positive at 8 weeks) so she thinks I might just be one of those lucky few that gets a bunch of negatives early on. I'm just going to act like I am pregnant until I'm proven otherwise. I told her that I was reading online that stress can push ovulation back, so I might not even be late yet.

ETA: Dh and dtd on December 17, so if I was ovulating around that time and conceived on the 24th, my 2ww wouldn't be up until January 7th, right? (I read somewhere that sperm can survive 7 days in the womb.)

firstkid 4 me, maybe this hug makes more sense. Did your doctor have anything else to say to you?

ETA You posted just before I did. I guess this is better than a bfn but still not the BFP that is hoped for? Take care of yourself.

firstkid4me: Well those results are a little better than nothing. And with your experience with dd, don't give up yet! YES, you wouldn't be due for af yet! :

sorry about the mama milk, that would be frustrating and sad!

how long? is this your first month charting? 20-22 day O isn't all that late but it certainly makes a difference on when you choose to test and thinking you're late. hopefully you have an obvious O in the next couple days. I'll be stalking....

I've thought about night weaning also. I just don't think dd would go for it. right now i'm trying to comfort her with snuggles and back rubbing when she wakes through the night. it works now and then but she certainly lets be know when she wants to nurse! She pries my eyes open and frantically signs nurse or she just helps herself!

hhmmmm....you didn't get a postive POAS until 8 weeks with dd? how frustrating!! so you aren't sure when you Oed? what DPO were you thinking you were? a neg blood test (i believe) is unusual unless very soon after conception. can that be very difficult to get like a POAS can be for some people? i'm sorry this is happening, so frustrating to not know! At least there is still hope though! I just went through this exact same thing this month, you don't by chance have hypothyroidism do you?

Sperm can live for 5 days in the right environment i.e. fertile CM. i have also heard 7 days but have read several things disputing that and saying it is pretty unrealistic, but potentially possible. (I teach a sex education course to mentally ill/abused kids so I read this stuff for "work" and fun! )

so i'm wondering how long vitex stays in your system after you stop taking it? I stopped taking it cd1, and i'm cd17 today. Maybe it interfered with clomid in the beginning?

eta: Ok, my opk is darker. Still not + but i'm guessing (oh please oh please!) that it will be in the next few hours. : I'll probably O tonight or tomorrow.

I remember reading somewhere that implantation bleeding, if present, can last for up 4 days and that you should wait to test for 4 days after implantation bleeding stops. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?
I haven't heard that, but have heard 5 days after implantation. (which i assume means five days after it starts )
