Welcome 2007: January Decluttering Challenge... - Page 23

I just got rid of 20 items from the pantry! But DH wants to keep the bread machiene with the missing part: he likes to take stuff apart and play with it?! He also thinks we could find a replacement part, so I'm only up 19!
All the clothes that were on the bed are GONE, folded, hung, put away! About 3 loads, so since I split it with DH, I will count them as 40 (we also did 2 new loads, too, but since they weren't old clutter I'm not counting them.) Emptied 1 suitcase from Dh's trip in December and put it's contents away. Suitcase still needs to go upstairs. Threw away/recycled a few more items from under/around the bed, say 3. So adding 44 to my current total, I am at 349/500.

Tomorrow, I have a plumber coming, so my bathroom is project #1, then the remainder of the clothes in a basket in my room. Then, the baby's room.

I have made my goal of 250 items for January, and am starting to count towards a February goal of 500!

cleaned out 10 more items from changing table, some trash, some goodwill, and some set aside to pass along to new baby cousin coming in August! I also found 10 more from baby's room! Most of those are going to baby cousin.

It's amazing to see how much stuff you have and what you really don't need. This is an excellent lesson in contentment, gratitude, and giving!

i just went through some drawers and found lots of clothes to de-clutter. Some baby clothes have been put away for thew next one. some have been designated as gifts and some are going to goodwill. combined with what i found in our drawer i think its a whole box full.

i'll be coming in under the wire ithink. but i 've stil got tommorrow....

Gonna try like hell to at least get rid of 31 more items today to at least make it to 1/2 my goal and then start Feb with the other 1/2

My bathroom is done, and with going through the makup baskets and lotions and bubble baths stuff, I have another 87 in the trash/recycle or set aside to give to others that will use them. That brings my total now to 436/500! Almost there Playtime with Connor, and then on to his room, as much as he will let me
post #448 of 459
I have 135 more items to get rid of by the end of today!!!! We'll see. When I made my goal for this month, I forgot that I would be away from home for a week this month...
Only 3 from Connor's room, but it is all clean, now, too! Total now is 439/500.

I cleaned my kitchen and found a creepy bear that I got at my baby shower (14 months ago...) that says a goodnight prayer in the creepiest voice I've ever heard. (But, hey, it's a prayer, right? They're Christian! Let's get it for them! gah...)

So, I'm over my goal by some. Not sure how much b/c of the pantry, but we'll just say 200/200. Yay!

I just posted my Feb goal of 300.

We have gotten rid of our fair share of praying stuffed animals. Yes, we are Christian but those things are just creepy. I wonder how many more we will recieve for our next baby.:

Still have to count what was bagged Mon night.

Angelo ended up unexpectedly in hospital for xrays of his hip joint, so I was unable to reach my goal But I will just start the Feb challenge instead of crying over spilled clutter!
