Guess I get to stare at these presents for the next 7 months before I can put them to use.

My absolute favorite gift was 2 cast iron skillets. To me they are just beautiful. I made everyone cornbread eggs and bacon in them this morning. They also remind me of my grandmother on the ranch cooking for everyone on her woodstove when I was very little. MMMMMM memory lane.

I got Adventures in Natural Childbirth (a book of birth stories) and 3 in 1 Pregnancy System and Fusion Pilates for Pregnancy (exercise DVDs). Isn't my DH great?

I also got (as a belated wedding gift) 4 bottles of wine a month and a fancy corkscrew. At least the guests at our party last night were well sated; they claim it's good stuff.

I got a wheat grinder--wonder mill It's just what I wanted! I have a wheat allergy, so I'll actually be using it to grind spelt berries instead of wheat. I just got my berries today....so maybe I'll try some bread or muffins tomorrow! WHOOHOO Oh....and running shoes.....LOL....my hubby is a BIG runner...like oh 6 mi before breakfast is a little 'jog' for him. I told him I'll appreciate them 'running' out to get the mail They sure are comfy though!
