Okay I downloaded this a few days ago and LOVE it!!! Is there a Motivated Moms tribe out there to help keep some of us newbies motivated, so to speak.

A quick question for those feeling success with MM: How are you dealing with how she has things distributed throughout the week? If Wednesday doesn't work for you to grocery shop, for example? I think my fear with MM is that I'll just convince myself, far too easily, that whatever it is doesn't work for me on a given day and I'll get to it later and will never get there. Make any sense? Maybe I should just stick to the Flylady control journal I made that's customized to my weekly outing schedule but on the flip side, I really like that MM is completely set up already... Help!

I just write it in a different day - that way I'm still accountable for it.

I'm viewing the week as a whole, rather than as individual days. The days are just there to guide me and give me an idea of how much I should be doing on a given day. So, I might not do everything on the day it's assigned, but I will sometimes do something from later or earlier in the week. I didn't do every last thing on last week's list, but I did most of it, which is way more than I usually do!

Wow thanks for the site. I think I am going to have to purchase this. I hated flylady as it was just to overwhelming and quite annoying especially when it came to shinning your sink, lacing up those shoe laces and laying out your clothes. Ok like seriously??

I think MM would be PERFECT for me. Especially after the baby arrives!

I just downloaded and printed out yesterday. I am so thrilled with this. By 8:00AM I have already acomplished more today than I think I did all last week. The tasks are very easy and each only takes about 5 minutes, so even though the list looks like a lot, it really isn't. I've even done a few things that were on the list for other days already (and checked them off!!) I love getting up in the morning and immediatly starting on the list, because then no matter what else I get done today, I still feel like I've acomplished something.

Did as someone on here suggested and uploaded this to Fedex Kinkos to be printed in a binder. I will be picking it up this afternoon after my doctors appt on the way home. I am excited to get started. It looks so easy and just up my ally for sure!! Especially being a very busy mom with a newborn soon to be here too!!

Thanks for the site info.

I downloaded it too. I am really excited about this. It seems so easy and maneagable.

I'm looking forward to hearing about everyone's experience with this.

I downloaded it last week and I am really loving it! Definately a huge difference in my house!

I picked up my book and just love how easy and compiled it is. I think this will work well in our household for sure!!

Yet another person who'd never even heard of this before coming across this thread on New Year's Eve. I guess I'm a Flylady dropout too -- though I love the book the emails are just too much. But I do wear fruity white Keds in the house everyday now

I like this so far as it is so easy and somehow checking things off feels very motivating to me. I've been leaving stuff 'til the last minute (I'm cooking dinner and running upstairs to clean the toilet at the same time!) so I'm going to try doing more stuff first thing as some of you do. I hope this little group keeps up -- I'd love to see how we all do!

Another plus to having my list posted to the refrigerator, every once in a while DH will do one or two of the tasks and check something off for me. He gets very well rewarded for helping out

That is soo cool! I'll have to drop some not so subtle hints about that! I just printed my first week. Started two days ago and did about half the chores. That's better than nothin right? I love how taking vitamins is on the list because I always forget mine.

Is there supposed to be anything along with the calendar? Any suggestions or motivation? I was expecting more than just the weekly calendar.

I just downloaded this, too, and I'm psyched!

I thought DH would make fun of me when I told him about it, but he was equally stoked. I should have known - he is the Master of All List-Making.

Is anyone else finding that by starting the day with the tasks on the list, you stay motivated throughout the day to do stuff that isn't on the list? I'm part of the de-cluttering challange, and after I had been through most of my list for today, I moved on to challange DS closet. (He's only 1, and since his is the biggest closet in the apt, it has become misc storage and my pantry overflow). Now that is motivation.

Mine did the opposite! He told me that he had cleaned the upstairs bathroom and when I asked if he cleaned the toilet, he said, "No, I checked your list and it wasn't on there. I didn't want to mess you up!" : What a dork!
