We got an early Christmas present this year! Maia Ingrid and Anders Peter were born on December 24th at 8:02 a.m. and 8:05 a.m.
Maia weighed 6 lb. 11 oz and was 19" long. Anders weighed 6 lb. 2 oz. and was 20" long. They were born at 38 weeks, 3 days.
Maia (Baby A) was presenting double-footling breech, so I had to have a c-section. I was scared to death, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The hospital was fantastic, and breastfeeding is going smoothly after some rocky starts - Maia had jaundice and lost too many ounces before my milk came in, but now she's a nursing champ! I still can't believe they are here! I am so in love.
