What is your favorite chore?

I love to do the laundry. I have forbidden DH from doing laundry because I want to do it. I love putting it in the machine, treating stains, folding, putting it away....love it all.

What is your fave chore?

Mine is vaccuming. The carpet feels so clean afterwards! My least favorite is laundry.

My favorite is cooking and menu planning, although DH likes to do it, too, so we share the duty. My next favorite is laundry. My least favorite is dishes, but DH does them every day (I'm SO grateful, too, truly!).

Neither DH nor I really like to clean, but I don't mind the bathrooms so much and he doesn't mind the kitchen so much, so it works out pretty well. I used to HATE to vacuum in our large house because it made my back hurt, but in our new apartment that's a lot smaller, I don't have that problem.

I'd have to say cooking first, then laundry...though I don't like to put the clothes away after taking them from the dryer!

I LOVE doing the laundry. The sorting, treating, washing, drying - and OH OH OH! Fabric softener!!!! And it feels so great to have all the laundry done and put away- now THAT feels great.

But I really love all cleaning chores. Having a nice clean, yummy smelling house just relaxes me like nothing else can.

Right now our little house is cozy and tidy, even after cooking dinner and DH spilling beer. And I feel friendly and relaxed.

Nothing. Not one darn thing. I keep waiting for the zen of cleaning that Bet Midler refers to--haven't felt it yet! LOL.

I do the chores quickly and feel a sense of satisfaction of having a clean and neat home, but I can't say I like any of it.

I absolutely LOATHE doing the laundry. I hate it so much. I can't even tell you just how much I hate it.

I am anal with vacumming and washing the floors. I love the way a clean floor feels on my feet and I love not seeing dog hair on the carpet.

Vacuuming is my second best favorite. Oh, and paying the bills. I love to pay bills. So does DH. It's very ritualistic.

Laundry. Or organizing. Cooking would be my fav, except I have to do it so often I get a little burnt out.

Diaper laundry. I love folding those big,fluffy prefolds and putting them away. Hanging my wraps or all of them on the line. Making wipes. Now that I have my new beadspread...making my bed.

There is nothing like a clean and clean smelling house!!
I love to hand wash my dishes....I also love to vacuum, I know the carpet is clean, and I love the lines that the vacuum cleaner makes.

Laundry is my least favorite, I hate it. I don't know what will make me like it better, maybe I'll try Potty Diva 's ritual and try some fabric softener!

Speaking of chores....I have these to do, and all this afternoon b/c we have company coming. You can each pick your faves and I'll have the front door open, if you want to come by around 2:00 pm today all my kids will be sleeping! Just wanted to give you something to do that you enjoy:
- Empty Dishwasher.
- Load sink full of dishes.
- Sweep kitchen, breakfast area and other hardwood.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Dust.
- Fold and put away about 3 baskets of clothes.
- Cook dinner.
- Declutter counter top.

Bathrooms are clean, beds are made; that's about it!! How do I get this far behind!!?!?! :

Another laundry girl here! I LOVE doing the laundry. I haven't been able to for a month because we're currently in an apt with shared facilities that are downstairs and it's really hard on me getting the laundry up and down the stairs. We're moving next month (Lord willing) and will have laundry in our apt!! I'm so stoked I can't wait! I actually daydream about doing the laundry!
I don't mind doing much else, the only thing I truly hate is putting the dishes away out of the dishwasher. We have so little cabinate space that it's impossible to cram it all in, so I hate doing that. Of course when we move we'll have more cabinate space so hopefully the one thing I hate will be tolerable again.
In any case, my favorite is definatly laundry!

I love doing the laundry!!! When dh is home I will disappear to the basement and soak, pretreat, sort, wash, dry and fold and mmm... I love doing the laundry~~~ especially the kids and putting their's away. I love to put their hanging things into their closets and everything in the right drawers. When in dipes, that was my absolute fav~~~ washing and drying and folding all that wonderful fluff!!! I can't wait to have another babe so I'll have dipes again!!!
Our unfinished basement has become my refuge at night, just me and the dog down there doing laundry, sometimes I even leave him upstairs .
