I've given a silver plated shot glass to my baby to suck on. I thought it was silver and safe until my mother in law said no way. There is no lead according to the lead testing kit. Could she have been harmed by sucking on it? It's so hard to find a safe teether.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

It's perfectly fine. Silver is actualy a natural antibotic, so it's just fine.

I actually have bought something like that from Haba. I found that the colour comes off quite a bit and stains her clothes. I asked the company what the stains are. They won't tell me what kind of dye they are using because it is secrete info, but it is non-toxic and natural. It is weird not to tell me what it is though. I wonder what kind of natural dye is so colorful. Would you give such a teething ring to your baby? I ended up buying one without colour.

Doh! I just went back to look and realized I had bought the one without the amber (which was touted as an ancient teether). I was wondering where it was on a daily basis
This is one of DD's few toys and yes, it goes in her mouth with everything else right now. She hasn't really been knawing on it (she has her hand or a soft washrag for that).
I've also got a plain wooden rattle from this same company. It's okay, I think it is a little big for her right now.
Haven't noticed any colors running off the toy...so yes, I've given such a teething ring to DD.
