How do I start a recylcling program in our neighborhood?

We live in a small, townhome community that doesn't offer a recycling program. I would love to look into this, but I don't know who to call and how to go about suggesting this? Anyone?

Can you look into the nearest *large* city? Call their landfill.

Call the county landfill?

This is my new year's resolution....I need to do the same.

Maybe call your Solid Waste Service provider (sometimes aka the utility company)?
