I don't mean to be contrary just for the sake of it, but I want to explain that when I was talking about her family thinking she had mental problems, I was referring to the, "They then told my hubby I need to see a shrink and get on meds," part of her post, rather than her use of the word "crazy".

Unless the family is extraordinarily dysfunctional, they would not recommend such a thing unless they genuinely thought she had serious mental/emotional issues.

Anyway, apart from that, I guess we just disagree.
