Anybody else thinking about changing their username after dc #2 is born?

My username is part of my daughter's name - which has been really who I've been for the past 3 years. But with a ds on the way I feel like it's not too cool of me to have a name that only includes one of my children.

(you know you spend WAAAAAAAY too much time at MDC if you're worried about slighting your newborn with your username )

I have another name in mind and last time I checked it was available. It's a word that is central to my artwork for the past few years (I'm a painter). I guess I should probably go ahead and do it and put "artist formerly known as Sophmama" as my senior member name.

Anybody else have Username guilt?

I went ahead and changed mine. It used to be "jpmomma" after my DS. But, like you, I didn't think it would be fair for my second baby not to be recognized.

Ehhh I guess I'm guilty of slighting my second child! My name only has my dd's name and I'm too lazy to change it! Seriously I have always loved my username and if I ever think of something better (whether it includes all three kids or not!) I would change it I guess. I don't think Johnny feels slighted, as he is the child that truly changed my way of thinking about birth and parenting. I never even heard of homebirth of anything else "crunchy" before I got pg with him!

I am going to slight my second child also I love my user name & can't think of a clever one to go with.

Ummm... well... I've been Miko or Miko Mum for soooo long on so many different boards that I just can't change it. Of course Miko is my cat, not my child....

LOL My name has nothing to do with my Kid(s).. its because I had guinea pigs in high school and needed a user name and have used this one for years...piggie was always taken

Hope you find a new name that suits you in the coming time... tick tick only 4+ weeks to find a new name

I will be slighting 3 kids but I like mine as well! The other name I use is a combo of my dd and this one's name if it is a girl so I really am slighting my second born, Liam! I don't think he cares though!
