I am 20 weeks and am planning on a hb in May. I have never posted here before so I thought I would say hi. We have a 2 yr old daughter, born w/mw in hosp, and are just thrilled to be doing it at home.. Though it all seems to be going by so fast.

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand! I recently had purchased the Gemini, great carrier! It has everything you will ever need and want, its ergonomic, comfy, organic, made...

Hi! I'm 18 weeks right now and planning my first homebirth as well. Looks like within a couple weeks of one another.
DD was a late May baby - it's a fantastic time of year to have a newborn!

Welcome! Nothing compares to a homebirth!
My little one was born at home in the month of may and it was so nice to be able to open the windows and get some fresh warm air and then everything was in bloom!
Congratulations!

I'm new too. My baby is due in 5 weeks and I'm hoping for a home birth. I don't mean to sound naive, but what does "I've been frosted" mean?

Hi Sam. I'm in you DDC, too. I'm planning my second homebirth. It's amazing. My favorite part was being able to go from my bed to the shower, to walking up and down my stairs naked, to the tub, to the couch, to the floor, to the birth ball all without anyone getting in my way. I loved curling up in my own bed with my hour old newborn to nurse her and gaze into her eyes. I loved that I was able to eat and drink anything that I wanted. It's such a comforting feeling being at home. I am really looking forward to this next birth and seeing how different it will be from my first.

Hi,
I am new here also. I had two babies in the hospital with the same CNM, and then the next three babies at home. My kids are ages 10, 8, 6, 4 and 8 months. Home birth is great
Welcome to the journey!
