Dawn vs. Sensi-Clean for Buildup

Thread Starter
I have some buildup on my diapers from diaper rash cream (Burt's Bees). I've read that both Dawn Dishwashing Liquid and Sensi-Clean are good for removing buildup. But the Dawn just doesn't seem to be doing it. I'm considering buying Sensi-Clean, but its kind of expensive so I'm wondering if anyone has tried it and is it worth it? Or maybe someone has other advice.

Sensiclean is the same things as sportswash. You can get sportswash at walmart in the hunting section, it comes a in a bright flourescent orange container, you cannot miss it. A little goes a long way, so it will last you for a while and works wonderfully.

Thank you!!! Someone else told me to find it at Wal-Mart, but I couldn't find it - in the laundry section : I ended up ordering it from http://diapercuts.com/. I like it. I like Dawn too. I do think the Sensi-Clean has been more beneficial than the Dawn, but then again, I've been trying to get away with fewer washes lately - not going well. Back to three cycles. If I do fewer in my frontloader I get stinky dipes. I think you need lots of water. I've also found that in our new house, the water is hard and I notice great improvement adding Borax as a laundry booster.
I still want to put my hemps through the dishwasher (no soap) though. I just haven't gotten to it yet.
Good luck

I love Sensi-Clean and Sports Wash ...

but there is also Calgon Water softener found in any laundering section of a big dept store like Walmart etc...it works awesome too for stripping. I use Burts Bees occasionally too if my ds has rash issues...and then have stripped in Calgon Water Softener (I used about 4 capfulls to a load) along with one capfull of Sensiclean and my dipes came out absolutely fantastic...I ended up buying more to do all our towels too! SO I like both! (Never tried Dawn personally).
