Argh! The conclusion to this and every study that says fat isn't bad seems to be the same- they have the evidence but refute it :

Behold the power of satiation! Imagine that! When people eat real food that is actually satisfying they don't want to eat quite so much junk and empty calories! Novel concept!

Grrr. Wish I had a dime for every time I read "artery-clogging saturated fats"!

In addition, I thought I read somewhere on the WAPF site that they add non fat dry milk (which contains trace amounts of oxidized fat) to skim and non-fat dairy products? Oh, here it is:

Powdered Milk

A note on the production of skim milk powder: liquid milk is forced through a tiny hole at high pressure, and then blown out into the air. This causes a lot of nitrates to form and the cholesterol in the milk is oxidized. Those of you who are familiar with my work know that cholesterol is your best friend; you don't have to worry about natural cholesterol in your food; however, you do not want to eat oxidized cholesterol. Oxidized cholesterol contributes to the buildup of plaque in the arteries, to atherosclerosis. So when you drink reduced-fat milk thinking that it will help you avoid heart disease, you are actually consuming oxidized cholesterol, which initiates the process of heart disease.

I have way less craving than I ever have after drinking full fat cows milk these past 2 years. Go figure. .

Thanks..I was listening to the Today show diet advice and it included "nonfat dairy" products and all the PC diet stuff. I always stuggled with my weight when I followed those nonfat recs for losing weight! Thanks for the info on powdered milk too...

I thought CLA was only in grass fed dairy too... ?
