Lately our bathroom have a yucky yucky sewage smell. today I gave it a deep cleaning, and still smell the stinky stink! I am guessing it's coming from the drains???

How can I get rid of the stink?

TIA

When our kitchen drain is funky, I throw in copious amounts of baking soda and then vinegar, then run really hot water. (And then throw ice cubes and run the disposal, but I'm assuming your bath doesn't have one of those.) Maybe you could boil some water and throw it down the drains? Put some lemon into the boiling water?

Is your vent clogged?

A sewage smell could be a sign something not working right.

Do you have a hair clog in the drain? Those can create a pretty stinky smell, IMO.

I found a good link for natural drain treatments: http://www.care2.com/channels/solutions/home/210

Do you have, or can you borrow, a wet/dry vacuum cleaner? If so, take out the drain plug and use the vac in the drain. It will pull out anything that's rotting within a foot or so of the drain.

Another option is to take off the U-shaped part of the pipe under the drain (a plumber or somebody experienced at this should do it to avoid a big mess!) and clear out whatever is in there.
