I saw it with my five year old, and enjoyed it. I thought it would be noisy and frantic, but it's actually rather sweet. It probably helps that I'm a Ben Stiller fan!

For me, the highlight is not the effects, but seeing Dick Van Dyke onscreen again. He looks great and effortlessly upstages the younger castmembers.

We call it "an owner" meaning that when it comes to DVD we will buy it. I took my almost 8 year old, my 5 year old and my 3 year old. They all loved it!! I really think that this movie will help kids see how wonderful and interesting history is.

Thanks so much!

We so rarely go to the movies (6 of us about breaks the bank!) - I hate paying that much and then hating the movie. Our 9-yo is desperate to see this movie - I was concerned about the PG rating, but the US Conference of Bishops rating is "general patronage" and they say it's a delightful family movie.

Guess we're a go for tonight!

I don't think there's anything offensive. Unless you're offended by monkey pee. The scene where the T-Rex first comes to life made my daughter very nervous, even though she knew ahead of time that it was going to be a FRIENDLY T-Rex -- there's ominous music and spooky camera angles while a frightened Ben Stiller prowls the museum and you're waiting for something to pop out at him. Once the dino actually appeared, she was fine.

Two enthusiatic thumbs up here.

This was the first non-animated film that my almost 3 yo dd has sat through and enjoyed. She loves animated kids movies, but has lost interest on other kids films that weren't cartoon - until this one. Dh and I really liked it too. Fun for everyone!

I thought it was cute, and the ten year olds I went with loved it.

The plot aside from the museum stuff was pretty limp though.
