Yay for Carfax!!!!

My husband works for Carfax (the vehicle history report company...not to be confused with CarMax, the used car company).

Today I got this awesome email from my husband, and I felt that Carfax could use some positive attention on this board.

What is this "meditation room" I keep hearing about?

There is a room over on the Marketing side that can be used if you need some privacy and quiet time. Mothers that are nursing can also use this room. There is a little refrigerator in this room as well. We ask that it not be used for food or drinks. This will be for the nursing mothers to put milk in.

I particularly like that the room is multi-functional. It's not about exiling nursing woman, but providing calm and quiet to anyone who needs it, including mother's who would prefer to pump in private. It seems truly supportive of breastfeeding. And having a fridge just for breastmilk is fantastic. I wish I could be so lucky when I go back to work.

That is great! We need some sort of Lactivism award to give out, like the schools give to teachers of the year.
