Taking advantage of this crazy January weather?

We live in NY and usually have snow accumulation by now and chilly temperatures. Not this year, though!!

So far, in January, we have taken a few hikes with Luna Blue in the Kelty packer and have played out in our yard and done some yardwork.

Here is a pic taken yesterday.

Luna LOVED watching the birds come to the birdfeeders! Chickadees and cardinals seem to be her faves so far. She did not, however, love the facial she got from the neighbor's dog. Blech.

Have you been taking baby out to enjoy this heat wave?

Hmmmm, well, considering we have several inches of snow on the ground and more is falling currently - we've done a lot of indoor activities! All of my thing are packed in boxes and bags and the like, so I can't find my pictures, or I would post snow pictures! (We had to pack everything up because we're getting new carpet. It was supposed to come today, but they had to cancel due to SNOW!)

Wow, look at her sit up! Eloise still flops over if you try to even hold her up!

We haven't been having much warmer than usual weather in Seattle. It's windy and rainy and cold today, blech!

oh what a great photo! isa isn't sitting up that well yet... she still kinda falls forward and her forhead nearly touches her feet. then she looks over at you like, "uhm, hello, a little help here!"

its really cold in wyoming, with a fair bit of snow and ice. but we still brave the cold to get out for walks and to xc ski... we're all much happier when we are out of the house!

i am curious about putting her int he backpack carrier now? i was worried she might slouch forward too much, but maybe it's time? (we have a sherpani that actually has alittle chest harness to prevent the slouch). hmmmm.

I put Nate in the Bjorn and we sat on the swing for quite a while and swung away! Ryan was at a bday party for a cousin at Rain Forest Cafe with my husband. A.J. was at his grandmas for the afternoon. I even got a little neglected leaf-raking done during Nate's 3rd nap!

We were out walking the past couple of days. I haven't needed a coat lately. Weird. It is raining today but it is going to be in the 60's. Sean loves getting outside.

Here in MI it's been unseasonably warm too. It was so nice to do all our Christmas stuff without the snow/ice/slush. We have a few flower bulbs that haven't gotten planted yet, so we really need to do that.

Ian can't sit up that well yet either. He does the same as Isa, flops over until his head is on his knees or feet and then kind of whimpers until I adjust him.
