What size Diva Cup to order?

I am going to switch from tampons to the Diva Cup, but I'm confused about the sizing- I've read that the under 30/no childbirth vs. over 30/post-childbirth guidelines aren't very accurate. I'm 33, have had 3 vaginal births and am petite. Should I get size 1 or 2? :

ETA- I'm asking because I've read that some mamas have had major leaking with the size 2 that resolved when they tried the size 1- so I'm wondering if there is a corelation between cervix size and body size, as dumb as that sounds

I agree, #2.

Also, with the cup, you don't want it to be up too high. That will also cause leaks. It should actually sit lower.

I also agree, get the post-childbirth size. I thought that I was petite and snug as well, and angsted over this decision, but size 2 fits me just fine.

I believe you can exchange them, too, so no money lost if it doesn't work.

And just FYI, it has nothing to do with cervix size. They sit in the vaginal canal, not up around your cervix.

Get #2. You may have to cut the tail off. I had to do that.

Okay, I think I'll go with the 2. Now to find the cheapest price, I'm so excited to order it!!!

I heard something about trimming the cup, what is that all about?

I'm assuming I'm #1 in size - I am 4'11 and haven't had kids yet, but I'm 28. I have never used tampons before and the one time I tried them, I couldn't really get them in right! I have heavvvvvvy periods due to a fibroid and have clots. Can I still use Diva? I'm so sick of wearing 3 Always Overnight pads at the same time (and change every 20 minutes) the first 2 days of my period. :

Size 2

As far as trimming the cup...that is refering to the little piece that sticks out the bottom. The Diva only has a short one. You can trim it off or not. but you would never trim the top of it.

If you want the reassurance that you can return it if it doesn't fit order it directly from the diva website. The other thing to bear in mind is if you trim the tail thingy they won't let you exchange it so even if you can feel it it's best to leave it on there until you're sure that you want to keep that size. Good luck, hope you like it
