Okay, I just got excited... I was on Dr. Sears website and he has two new toppings coming....

Resources in the fate of the foreskin
Does circumcision affect sexual feelings?

Let's hope they come out well....

I think Frank wrote to him a while ago notifying him that his stance on circ. was misguided (as stated on the website... I haven't seen if it's been updated). I hope Frank got through to him, or rather that Dr. Sears and/or his "team" were intelligent enough to pay attention!

I do hope these two impending articles come out well!

Those are the same articles that have been up for years....and the resources have been marked as "coming soon!" for about that long. Since about 2002 I think (when I first started researching circ.)

At least the website is better than the book.

That's a Shame... Maybe we need to be emailing Mr. Sears...

Sensation and sexual pleasure - the foreskin is filled with nerves, and is therefore extremely sensitive to touch. This enhances sexual pleasure.

That was the article I refered to previously. From my recollection, it's been changed significantly, and appears to be much more up to speed with what we know about RIC. I do wish he would just come out and say not to perform RIC, but as I recall, the past version of that article mostly gave the message like that in the last paragraph. It's some progress.

BTW, I'm surpised the article doesn't mention that RIC can compromise the successful establishment of breastfeeding. I'm sure there are many other key points that the article misses. So what do you all think... Letter writting time?

I'm pretty sure this information has been changed AFTER 2004 when my son was born. Well, actually, maybe it was all on the website, but now the more anti-circ comments are more readily found.

I know I looked and one point wanting to use it as a reference for others and passed on it because it was still a very weak statement.
