We are so thrilled and happy to announce that Yuri Alexander has arrived!! His due date was January 3 ... but he arrived on January 4 at 12:38pm after about ten hours of labour. Of course, to me he is the most beautiful baby that I have ever laid eyes on and I am totally in love. Breastfeeding is going well ... with the exception that I had *no* idea that someone so little could have such amazing sucking power! But otherwise we are doing well and though I am a bit sore and had some minimal tearing I am healing well and enjoying our precious new addition. We are thrilled!! Thanks to everyone for all of your support here. When I have more time I will post our birth story.
