Indigestion/HB remedies?

I had really bad HB and indigestion last pregnancy, and my mw then told me to take tums. Since then, I have heard that tums arent that great during pregnancy...anybody have safer, more natural cures? Its starting again....

I haven't tried it myself (haven't needed it yet) but I've heard that Papaya Enzymes are supposed to work.
