Willing to SHARE Menu Plan and STep by Steps?

Hello!

I know that some time ago, Hibou shared her menu plan and her steps to accomplish it.

Well, it's that time of year again....NEW YEAR"S GOAL TIME! And already, I have FLUNKED! Big time! And my family's health and my budget are paying for it.

I HAVE to get to where I cook every meal at home. And I NEED a menu plan. I made one, and husband poopooed it saying that I didn't have enough fruits and veggies. So I added FRUIT to every breakfast.

The sicknesses that I have can sooo be cured by good food adn I NEED to get back on the bandwagon. Also, I would LOVE to make several "freezer meals" (now that I have a FREEZER!) . But I HATE the idea of using the aluminum pans...any ideas?

Thanks you!

Check out this thread:

It has a lot of great ideas.

I freeze my freezer meals mostly in gallon sized ziplock backs. When it's time to thaw them, I just cut the bag away from the frozen food when it's slushy-thawed, and then put it in the pan I'm gonna warm it in (be it in the oven or on the stove). To freeze initially, I put it on a cookie sheet, and then they stack like a deck of playing cards. Otherwise, I will often use gladware and do the same thing, thaw on the counter till it's slushy thawed and then throw it into whatever I'm gonna heat it in.

I second the post that was reccommended to you for the other thread, its really good. Also in the Nutrition and Good Eating forum I posted a thread about pyrex dishes, they are great for freezing!

I don't believe they have children so I wouldn't think so.

What you can do is line your baking pan with foil, freeze your casserole in the lined pan, then when its frozen take it out, wrap it up and when you are ready to cook you can put it in your pan again to bake.
