Well, the thing that hasn't made me want to quit at all is that flylady always says "you're not behind - just start where you are" and also the fact that you can do so many things if you only do it for 5 or 10 min.
I really have been making progress, the problem is that I'm not making enuogh progress, because while I've decluttered a few areas, I still ahev to try and keep up on the dishes and laundry and regular stuff and that's what's hard.
I feel like it'd be easier to do everything if I started out with a semi-clean house, but since I am starting out with a house that needs a lot of work, it is more tricky.
I am trying to remember what flylady says - it didn't take you a week to get your house in this condition so it will take longer than that to get it clean(it's something like that).
I will say, she does make it easy to stick with it, even if you don't feel like you're sticking to the plan really.
There are some things that are still better than they ever were - my kitchen sink looks nice, even when there's dirty dishes on the counter
and the toilet and bathroom sink are cleaner than usual, and people were able to sit on my couch because the pile of stuff is gone, and we've eaten 3 meals at the kitchen table because it's all cleared off, so I'm trying to hang on to the progress I've made and not that I'm a bit stuck right now.
