so my dad said they just burned up their drill press at work and arent going to fix it, so im welcome to have the press part. im wanting to do snaps with it, ive read the threads and im fairly confident, then i went to order my dies and snaps....holy! so im going to get size 20 set-in dies (right?). so my question.... what snaps do i need? i had no idea there were so many parts to a snap. do they alays come as a complete snap? id hate to order 100 pieces and not have the matching half! i see 'sets' at thesnapstore.com and im guessing thats what that means. also whar are 'extra long'? do i need this? probably the thickest thing ill be snapping is 2-3 layers of fleece or 2 layers of wool.
are dth dies going to come with instructions? im totally new to snapping but it really seems like the way to go, especially if my new drill press will work.
where should i order from? i read serenas page and it seems everything shipps from china, how long does that take?
