We have 2 Chumbas Super-Trim AIOs and I wish I had 2 million! They are extremely trim, fit under all of DD's clothes without a huge bubble butt, very well made, the sewing is flawless and they're totally adorable! She has a ton of PUL prints as well as different fabrics for the inside. The soaker is either snap-in or sewn only at the ends for a fast drying time. Edie is a very nice WAHM too, very friendly e-mails. We give Chumbas two thumbs up!

I have a super-trim AIO and just love it! Mine has a laminated PRR print outer and velour inner and my little boy goes nuts for it! It washes and dries in a flash and fits my 19 month 22 lb boy very well with plenty of room to grow.

I broke one of the snaps and asked Edie to replace it since my snap press is incompatible with the ones she uses. Though she was swamped with custom orders and getting ready for a show, she fixed it and sent it out the same day. She was wonderful to work with and I'd love to have a bunch more of her diapers! Very nice workmanship, excellent customer service and fast turn-around time. Yay Edie!!

I can't say enough good things about Chumbas!
They're trim, absorbent, come in solids or cute prints, and are reasonably priced.
I have both Super Trims and Fleece Sandwiches.
Edie is a wonderful WAHM to deal with too!
She's not happy 'til you are.
If she doesn't have a pattern that you're looking for, she will custom-order it for you, or you can send her your own fabric and she will give you a discount on the dipes.
She has made me several custom dipes, and I couldn't be happier!

I thought I would post an email that Edie sent to me because it was full of great info that helped me decide when choosing fabrics for my custom super trim AIO. I thought it might help someone else make decisions.

Ok, here's my thoughts and opinions:

The "standard" SuperTrim comes with a 2 layer flannel hidden inner, and an
inner layer of velour, flannel or knit. The hidden layers of flannel is
fine for most babies (including my own), but for maximum absorbency, I
recommend using Hemp french terry or hemp fleece for the hidden inner. They
are both 22oz, so absorbency in both is about the same, but the french terry
is a bit trimmer than the hemp fleece, which is "fluffier". Using either
will give you a slightly less trim diaper than the flannel, but hardly
noticeable.

Inner fabrics: Knits will wear better than flannel in the long run, but
more cute prints are available in the flannels usually. It's a hard hunt
for cute cotton knit fabrics! Flannel is slightly more absorbent, but will
show fading and other signs of wear with the frequent washing that diapers
take.

I really recommend the snap in soakers. When the soakers are sewn in, it
makes additional holes in the PUL, and weakens the diaper. I use polyacetar
(resin) snaps, not plastic. They snap together so well, you never have to
actually unsnap them and can send the soaker through the washer and dryer,
and they stay snapped together. But since the soaker hangs free, it can
rinse clean and dry quickly, and no matching up soakers to diapers. If you
prefer to dry your soakers but not the PUL outer, you can easily do that as
well.

Velour makes an awesome interior fabric. There is a bit of poly in the
velour, which makes it wear really well, resist staining, and wash well, but
it is mostly cotton so you get good absorbency there as well.

Side snap vs front snap or front aplix. These diapers are sized
differently. The front snap and front aplix diapers are VERY trim fitting,
and are meant to really provide a snug fit. Your baby will grow out of
these more quickly because of this. The side snap and side aplix diapers
have a LOT of adjustability, and are sized larger than that same size in the
front snap/aplix diapers. They are considered 2-size diapers - fitting over
2 average diaper sizes. A baby can wear a med Front snap SuperTrim, for
example from, 10-20 pounds. It will fit a baby well at 10 pounds, and the
baby really will outgrow the diaper right at 20 pounds. A Medium side snap
diaper fits from about 15-28 pounds. The rise is higher to accomodate the
larger range of sizes, and the diaper will not provide a snug fit for a baby
on the smaller end of the range. Just something to be aware of.

CHUMBAS WON'T LEAK. THEY ARE AN AIO THAT WON'T LEAK!!!

I have a fleece sandwich and a supertrim and they are SO convenient. The trim-ness of the fleece sandwich is totally up to you, because you put the diaper in it. My super-trim is not super trim. That's just because I chose a flannel print that I was warned was bulkier. However, it's gorgeous and I won't be parted from it.

I have had 3 Chumbas over time and I do love Edie's work, as well as all the cute prints she has. But, these diapers just do not fit my son very well. He has very chunky thighs but an average sized waist, and these diapers just don't work. I've only had the front aplix ones though, so it is possible that the side aplix would work.

I wish Chumbas worked for us though, as they are great diapers.

Our Chumba Super-trim AIOs are our cutest and trimmest diapers. By trim, I mean that they are very narrow between the legs, not a lot of extra material for the absorbancy, and no bubble butt.

They are beautifully made, soft, and durable.

I like about these diapers that the snap-in soaker reaches to the absolute front of the diaper, so the wetness doesn't spread everywhere quickly with my front-soaking ds. Instead, it is absorbed into the soaker.

I was concerned that the medium diaper is on its second to last snap setting on my skinny 14.5 lb ds who was at the lower end of the weight spectrum (although he is long). Edie responded to my concern promptly, explaining that the inner snaps are rarely necessary and that usually, the waist doesn't grow as much as the baby starts to crawl, etc. I still do wonder, though, if my ds would fit these diapers much longer if he weren't so skinny.

Otherwise, everything was perfect -- beautiful diaper, great customer service.

I wish I had tons more, even though I'm usually an anti-PUL, pro-wool mama...

We've had one PUL sandwich... it fit well, didn't leak AT ALL & Edie is one of the nicest WAHMs on the planet.

I had one super trim with front aplix. I really liked it despite the fact that ds could take it off. It fit great under clothing and held a ton!

I have to chime in! The Super Trim aio's made by Edie are awesome! My dd is 21 months old and weighs 23 pounds. She fits the larges perfectly. They fit very trim. These are my most reliable. They've never let me down. When we're going somewhere I will add a doubler. These fit under all of dd's clothes. One thing I wish is that she had more knits to choose from. Otherwise, everything is perfect! )
