Hey girls! I saw this thread on another board I belong to and I thought it was pretty cool. It's a fun way to see what you have in common with other mommies out there...
Here's mine:
-I am a night owl. I'll stay up waaay too late reading a good book or hoping to catch someone I like on Leno or Letterman. Bad habit.
-I love to read and do crossword puzzles. Books are an addiction for me, too, and I feel like my favorites are 'old friends'. LOL! I can read favorites over and over again.
-I HATE reality TV with the exception of American Idol-which I LOVE!
-I have been fighting depression for almost 10 years now, and have lost jobs because of it. I am finally in a very good place, because of my family, my doctors, and the medication I take. Phew.
-I am a Christian and I love our church. I have recently discovered that if you wear your faith like a badge and treat people with love and kindness, the world often responds in kind.
-I can write you a dirty limmerick lickety split.
-I am a wine-o. I l-o-v-e wine.
-I love artichokes, but sometimes they make me gag. Weird, I know. It's a texture thing, I think. Broccoli too.
-I hate spiders, and most everything that is creepy crawly. -shudder- I saw something in my basement with a million legs and RAN LIKE THE DEVIL HIMSELF WAS CHASING ME UP THE STAIRS! LOL!
-I think my twin nephews are weird and funny-looking.
-I am a homebody, although I think a lot of that is a symptom of my depression.
-I love golf, but I SUCK.
-I totally believe in ghosts and think I have a little ESP. I love Ghost Hunters! I'd love to go on a ghost hunt but am scared to pieces thinking about it. We live very close to the second oldest cemetery in Grand Rapids and I'd love to go over there at midnight with a camera, but wouldn't want to do it alone....
-I am an indie-rock and 80's music freak. I listen to a lot of stuff that noone has ever heard of, but I don't care.
-I am a true American mutt, but identify with my Irish heritage. I look Irish-pale, freckly, reddish hair. I can't wait to visit someday.
I guess that's it for now...
How about you girls???
