Not fair, not fair, not fair. I got my period today, and I am mad!!!!! Not even five months - at least I got five months with dd1. Come on already - Louis is exclusively breastfed. Dumb body.

I wish I'd just get my period already!! : All this revving up and backing down of my hormones is driving me up a tree! It's like PMS for weeks!!! Except I've run out of chocolate .
So, did you let your husband know? Maybe if he waits a few weeks you can just sneak an oops in there!!

Sorry about AF, i would be disappointed too.

Seriously, about the vas, why don't you just ask your dh to wait a bit and use some sort of birth control option until then. Really, since you are wavering on this, it's not a good idea to do it. A vas can happen anytime, it doesn't have to be right now. So, agree to disagree about this right now and when you are in a better state (perhaps with a bit more sleep and no hormone stuff getting in the way) you can revisit this. Remind him that once he has a vas, it's forever (well, unless you have a termendous amount of $ to sink into a reversal and even those don't have great success rates.)

Hang in there mama!

That sucks. I got it back at 5 months with my daughter, but I think it was because my oversupply regulated itself. Liam sleeps way more, but still no sign yet.

Wait, so we're supposed to have wacky hormones right now??? Cuz i've been on some weird emotional roller coaster this week and couldn't figure out why. I was enjoying the hormone holiday, dangit!

But at least now I have an excuse for yelling, "I'm sorry nothing I do is important!" the other day when DH interrupted me while I was writing an email, and then bursting into tears.

Whew. For the 1000th time, i'm so glad i'm not alone.

Yea, that's pretty much what we're going to do. I told him I was too hormonal to face anything permanent. I told him that I knew we'd agreed on four, but I had to live in my own fantasy world, at least for now! I think we're going to take an NFP class, and then opt for condoms when we want to DTD in the "no zone." Honestly, I'm a little nervous for him to have a vasectomy. I know that for the most part they are very safe, but we have a friend who almost died from his. Personal experience always skews your own views, you know? This friend can also NEVER have a reversal, and I would absolutely freak out over that!

I got mine back between 5&6 weeks

I just keep crossing my fingers. With DD#1 it came back by now. Maybe it's the whole tandem nursing thing?

Seriously, I'll be joining you in the temper tantrum some day!

I got mine back last week. It also came with a drop in my already low supply and I'm having to supp more. I'm so very tempted to start giving him some sweet potato or avocado instead of more formula. I can convince myself into and out of it all within a minute.

Okay, I don't feel quite so bad. I was seriously pouting b/c mine came yesterday. I do still think it's unfair to have 6wks pp bleeding, and then to have it come so quickly.

I was majorly pouting last night, but my DH said... "Well, now your body is ready for another one... not that I am!" It's nice that he's even entertaining the idea of another one, b/c he has been talking about vasectomy ever since my long complicated birth.

I'm still not happy about it, but at least it wasn't at 5-6 wks pp like some women!

Good luck to all of you,
E

It makes a difference. I only made it 4.5 and 5 months while nursing only one baby. I made it 7 months nursing dd2 and ds1 and 10 whole months while nursing ds1 (also known as the boy who could suck the chrome off a bumper) and dd1.

Mine came back at 3 months just about right on the nose.
