FINALLY!
8 lbs exactly, 20 inches long, born at home in the exact same place her brother was born.
7:41 PM, Monday, January 8th, 2007
Labor was on and off for most of the previous night and all day (DH had to go into NYC for the day and so was more than 2 hours away). I called him at 3 and said the contractions were coming every 5 minutes, and he left shortly thereafter to come home. He arrived at 6 PM, the mw got here at 6:30 and a little over an hour later, she shot out after only two pushes.
Everyone is doing really well; DS is having some adjustment issues, but I guess that's to be expected. This being a mom of two thing is hard!
