to have my period? Talia will be 8 weeks tomorrow... ug. Last time it was ten weeks, but then, I bled for 7 and a half weeks.... : I had hoped for a reprieve!

I've had 2 - yuk!
I was in denial about the first one, but the second left no doubt. Marlee is 14 weeks - I got my first at about 8 weeks! Needless to say, I was bummed.

I may be joining you... I'll know for sure in a couple weeks. My lochia hadn't ever really stopped but for a day when it picked up pretty heavy and stayed as blood for almost a week. That was a couple days past 6 weeks (M's 8 weeks as of yesterday). But when I was reading up on FAM in TCOYF, she said bleeding before 56 days (8 weeks - yesterday) counts as lochia. So I don't know.

I got a year after my son - and probably would have gone longer if we didn't night wean to ttc. So this was quite different for me.

You are not alone!!!!! I just got mine yesterday and my babe is 8 weeks old too!!! With my other two it was the same as well so I wasn't surprised!

No sign of anything like that here, but I am worried that it will come back sooner than last time since Zeben often goes a long stretch at night without nursing. With my twins, I got it back exactly 3 months after nightweaning, when they were 21 months old. I'm really hoping to get at least a year and a half this time.

I haven't had my period yet thank goodness.
Lillie is 10 weeks old.
I am still breastfeeding. She sleeps long stretches during the night (7-8 hrs).
But eats like a trooper during the day.
I'll enjoy every minute left of having no period. Heh.
