OK...either get on with it or STOP IT!!!....

I really thought this might be the beginning of IT last night. Nausea, bit of diarrhea, doesn't feel like I have the stomach flu. Contractions, nothing regular, but present. Up finding DS binky at 1:30, back up about 2:20ish with said contractions, stayed up till about 3:20 with that and at least 3 pee trips. Finally back to bed from 3:30-about 6 (another pee trip) then half sleeping from 6-close to 7.
Finally able to eat a bit around 9, followed by a nap while G & G played with DS, followed by lunch at noon. No more contractions, no more anything.

I wish she would either get the show on the road or stop this! I have a MW appt. in a few here, at least I can see if this has *done* anything! (made that this AM while still having contractions...)

I am SO there with you!!! I could have written your post.... My CX started at about 8pm last night. They were pretty strong, not too regular, but within 5 to 10 minutes. DD didn't fall asleep until 11 last night and I was up and busy with her that time. Kept my mind off the cx but I was really beginning to think this was it. I went to bed at midnight and was up every two hours. My stomach felt funky, crampy, in between cx. Tossed and turned, couldn't sleep with the cx. DD woke at 4am and never soundly fell back to sleep. She was wound around me, preventing me from being remotely comfortable. Got up at 7:30am... CX have slowed to very infrequently, only a couple an hour.

I feel pretty good now, SERIOUSLY nesting. This is the "must clean behind the faucet with a toothbrush" sort of nesting. I could handle being pregnant for another week or two, but I can't handle this sort of on again/off again, cx that keep me from sleeping sort of thing.

Good luck mama! Let it be soon (for both us!)

ME TOO!!!!! I am feeling better now, too (fewer cx). And I don't mind staying pregnant, either but MAKE UP YOUR MIND ALREADY!

Honestly, I have two more things to sew, but I will be done with that tonight.

C'mon Babies! We want you on this side! We have lots of nice milk for you...

my girl and I had a little talk today...I said she should either get the show on the road or chill out a few days, it's FREEZING here right now anyway, *I* wouldn't want to come out! (actually it is now the weather we USUALLY have in January, we've just been SPOILED.)

In good news, I'm 75-80% effaced and still 1 dialated. And she's low, -2. MW gives no guarantees but says she will be surprised if I go all the way to the 21st.....
Daddy is still hoping for Monday, that's *his* b-day...*I* just hope for not in the few hours on Friday or Sunday when my MW will be busy and the other one would have to deliver me....

I bet my stinker is going to turn up on Sunday/Monday in the first snow storm of the year. They are predicting measurable ice and up to 4 inches of snow. Of course, we have had NO snow for the last 6 weeks!!

zakers_mama- Sunday is my DH's birthday! The 26th is mine, but I sure hope he doesn't hang in there that long! That's about 9 days overdue, so he best be here by then!

See, I wish I would feel my contractions. I know they are there, I keep progressing each week. I am now 100% effaced, 4-5 cm dilated, baby is at 0 station....and NOTHING. I am 39 weeks 5 days today, at 37 weeks my m/w started saying "I'd be surprised if we see you next week" as I was 3 cm, 80% effaced, and -2 station.

I was goign to start a new thread, but I'll just add to this one

I've been having the crampy, menstrual like cramps for about a week now and they are worse when my dd nurses. As if I haven't been complaining about the pain of nursing during pregnancy, now to add insult to injury...

Also, I'm in St Louis and they're predicting a really nasty winter storm starting tonight (which probably means we wont' get anything ) but still... it's supposed to last all weekend and be lots of freezing rain- 45 minute drive to the hospital! UGH! At least dh would be driving instead of mil or nephew...

You're joking, right? I suppose that means I'll go into this weekend, then. I've been in prodromal hell for awhile now. I'm having a UBA2C, but if I need to transfer I'd like to actually be able to get to the hospital.

I just wish I knew for sure what contractions felt like! There's only been twice--once early on and last week when I fell up the stairs--when I had one strong enough that there was no doubt. But neither time did it last very long. When the doc. asks me each week if I'm having more BH contrx, I say "about the same," but I really have no freakin' clue!

(But to OP...I hope the baby gets the message and gets out of you soon!)
