And I love her. She was fabulous. Anyway everything went great! They did the family and personal medical history, height (5'5"!), and weight (118). They put me down as due September 4th - it keeps changing!
So yeah they obviously did a pap and internal exam etc. Oh and a urine test. I didn't think I had to go, so I thought I'd have trouble filling the cup. Um, not quite... I almost flooded the place, hahaha. I asked if I would get an ultrasound and they said, "Sure!", so we got my dad from the waiting room and went to the ultrasound room. It was neat - but since it was external (abdominal), we couldn't actually see anything but snow, and then a little part that had no snow. Apparently that was the sac! hehe But she did confirm that it's in my uterus, and she sees the sac, which means everything is good so far. The doc claimed she would see "the tadpole" making a clipping motion in the bottom right of the sac - I guess that was the heartbeat. She said, if you look carefully, you can see it there, it looks like a little pac-man... lol Well I couldn't see that but I took her word for it
Anyway now we are calling the little bean "pac man". I will feel a bit bad about this if it turns out this little bean is female

. That's not routine around here. What's the purpose of an internal exam at your stage of pregnancy? Had you also not had a pap in a while?
