Okay... I thought I would start the new thread for us.

Like the title NCD? Just wanted to make sure you knew you were included. Here's what's been up for me...

I'm snowed in (again!) and the whole household is getting a little stir crazy... It's been a hard month for us.. but definetely seeing improvements. I love my bishop and the prophet so much as they have really helped me see Heavenly Father and the Savior's love for me so much more clearer this month- when I really needed it. We were planning on TTC in the spring/summer... but I think DH has finally prodded me enough that we are considering next month. Although there has been a few slip ups and AF is two days late now... (I doubt it.. but DH is predicting pregnancy- that's all that makes me nervous because his pregnancy predictions have a 100% success rate) So we'll see what happens. Hey- I made it to 2007 right? :

My Relief Society presidency came by and said I didn't have to leave if DS wanted to run around RS - I can let him be free, and they'd rather have us both there. O......kay......you asked for it! :

Guess I should add what's up around here. The new semester at UVSC started last Thursday, so I've been in school again for a week already : I'm an English Lit Major, so I've got classes like British Literature to 1800, Studies in the American Novel, Introduction to the English Major (this is the first semester I've been able to fit it into my schedule - I'm a junior! ), Contemporary American Literature and Contemporary Critical Approaches to Literature. It's a -load of reading, but I'm up to it ... I hope Among other things I'm reading this semester are Beowulf (which is one of my all time favorites, I think I've decided that my emphasis is going to be in Medieval Anglo-Saxon Literature (I need a sword-wielding smiley)), Pudd'nhead Wilson and Those Extraordinary Twins by Mark Twain, The Coquette, To Kill a Mockingbird, Middle Passage, The Gulf War Did Not Take Place, Tortilla Curtain, The Ox-Bow Incident, A Changed Man, White Noise, King Lear, Arthurian Legends, Dr. Faustus, The Canterbury Tales, Paradise Lost, The Rape of Lock and much much more. I'm really looking forward to it, I've got some great professors and I really like the subjects (even my theory classes ... I've really found a liking for critical theory).

So, I'm in school full time (I've got 13 credits this semester, down two from 15 last semester (which kicked my butt ... last semester burned me out)) and I'm working part-time (4 hours) at a local charter school - I'm an assistant teacher for the seventh grade at Reagan Academy in Springville, Utah, and that is just the best job I have ever had. I look forward to it each day, and as a matter of fact, on January 1 (the last day of the Christmas break) I looked at Alisa and said "I get to go back to work tomorrow!" Not many people I know can say something like that ... I'm not bragging, I'm just so glad that I have finally found my niche. It's been so much fun ... we just got finished with a unit on WWI and are moving into the Russian Revolution and the kids have just been fascinated with what went on during WWI and how it directly led to WWII, etc. We gave them a test on it today and the lowest score was a 92 out of 100 (which is only 2 missed questions)!

Anyway, I'm rambling now ... so I'll shut up and post this already.

(What's really funny is that right now, we're literally eight feet away from each other as we post back and forth )

I've noticed you both post pretty quickly in response to each other. Actually, it cracks me up.

Jenn.. starting out with cloth diapers was hard for me to. I eventually just forced myself to make the committment and seriously saw the benefits. It's an adjustment- but I enjoy them so much more now. Give yourself some time. It will be okay. BTW... I love your sons name.
