Finally getting a home to birth in!

I'm so excited, I just had to share. DH and I have finally managed to get a downpayment together and will be getting a house soon, hopefully within a few months. No more renting or weird landlords. This means I can have the home birth I've been dreaming of for my next pregnancy...woo hoo! We plan on TTC in late summer/early fall. I can't wait!

Cogratulations! My 1st HB was in London and my 2nd in W. Sussex. The cost of living and rhe weather in the UK, however, is why we moved from the UK, though...

Thanks everyone! I'm just on a cloud right now, and so excited. My DH is still laughing about the fact that I was more excited about having a house to give birth in than any other reason.

Congrats!! When we first toured our house it hit us really hard that THIS WAS OUR HOUSE. The first thing I said to my husband was, "Perfect for a homebirth." He replied, "Yeah.. the living room is big enough to put a birth tub in." Great minds think alike. BTW.. for those of you trying to concieve in late summer.. we started a TTC in 2007- Babes in Waiting thread over in Family Planning. Feel free to join!

That's awesome! I know just how you feel, too! My hubby and I have been waiting for YEARS to own our own home and now we're building our house, about to move in and plan on having this next baby in the "birthing suite" (aka - master bedroom suite)!!

Congrats to you guys! It's exciting!!
