PP spotting at almost 9 weeks?

I had an hbac almost 9 weeks ago and I'm still spotting...barely spotting but it's there. Kinda pink here and there. It's been this way for a while. I mentioned it to my midwife at my 6 week apt. and she didn't seem concerned.

Anyone else experience this?

I've bled for 6-8 wks pp everytime. At the end it was definately pink spotting, just like at the end of my period. It sounds like it's on it's way out! It's rough to be bleeding that long isn't it? I hope it stops soon. Try and take it easy. As long as it doesn't smell bad and you don't have a fever or anything, I would worry about it!

My DD is one day younger than your baby! My spotting went on until just under 7 weeks. I'm a bleeder and I bled a long time PP with the other 2. I just had an ultrasound and there was no retained matter. MW wasn't too concerned...

Retained matter? That could be a cause, huh?
Well, I'm not worried at all really since I feel great and everything is healed up just fine (down below anyway).
I just remember that I only bled with ds#1 for maybe 5 weeks. That was a csection. Not sure if it makes a difference.

PP bleeding does suck...but fortunately it is followed by many long months of no bleeding at all...if I'm as lucky as I was with ds#1...13 months!

My friend said with her c that they "sucked" her out so she didn't have much bleeding. I stopped bleeding after about 6 wks, but then had occasional spotting after high exsertion till 10 wks.

My baby was born about 2 weeks before yours, and I had spotting as recent as last weekend. It was light, and there was a lot going on (three sick kids and a sick husband), so I'm sure that is what caused it. Unfortunately, it also looks like my body is gearing up to ovulate, so I figure I've only got a few weeks to enjoy. Sigh.
