prefold question

I'm expecting a baby next month. I got some prefolds to start with in case he is to small for the small size fitteds I made. my question is, I don't want to use pins. I tried a snappi with my older son and hated it (of course he was mobile and squirmy at the time) are there any other types of closures that I can try?

If you use a well-fitting wrap with a newborn, you don't need any closure. When DS was a newborn I often just trifolded the prefold and laid it in the wrap. It worked pretty well, the only thing I didn't like was if he pooped, b/c sometimes it would leak onto the cover. Sometimes though I was able to fold the diaper around him the same way I normally did when I pinned, and then close the wrap quick around it, and it stayed in place pretty well.
