Is anyone familiar with the Mothers Acting Up handbook?

It's actually a weekly calendar with profiles of famous women activists and agitators from history and the prestent. It looks awesome but I'd love to hear from someone who knows more about it before I hand over $20! Check it out at www.mothersactingup.org

Yes!! I'm familiar with the Mothers Acting Up Handbook and Engagement Calendar. Actually, I'm not famous, just a regular community activist mama, and I'm one of the portraits.

I facilitate a MAU community in Nashville, where I live, and am now the National Outreach Coordinator for the organization.

The Handbook is fabulous! It's beautifully designed with lots of room for writing appointments, baby milestones, journal entries or anything of your choosing. Even better, the Handbook offers super simple weekly actions, contact information for the 53 portraits and orgs they represent, all of whom are doing work toward the betterment of our world for children everywhere (and by proxy, the whole lot of us!) and the contents run through the basics of how precisely to act up, distilling mama activism into everyday doings for ordinary people (like me) to do extraordinary things.

The flavor of the book is joyful acting up, as opposed to just saying No to things.

Please let me know if there's any questions in specific that I can answer for you. Sales of the Handbooks go to fund MAU, a mother-fed, mother led movement of mothers and others advocating for the world's children.

Furthermore, if you are interested in forming a MAU community in your neighborhood, city or region, holler!

In spirited partnership,
Paige La Grone Babcock
