Any babies NOT rolling over yet?

Aria is now 4 months and 3 weeks, she will be 5 months on the 25 but she hasn't rolled over at all yet and I wonder if this is ok. Haven't been to the doc in a WHILE, since 8 weeks and due to go this friday. But in the meantime, are we alone? I don't feel too worried, she is SUPER active and moves like crazy but despite being down on her belly and back just doesn't get over. But to be fair she is also probably carried around more than most babes out there. Anyone in my boat?

Our DS isn't rolling over yet either (4.5 months).

We went to the ped recently, and he said that babies who co-sleep tend to roll over later (around 6 months). Since these babes are on their sides or backs instead of their tummies, they have less incentive to roll over.

Made sense to me

our ped told us that anywhere from 2-6 months is "normal". i wouldn't be worried if i were you... i am sure she is right where she needs to be!

I am not sure I understand. Don't non- co-sleeping babies sleep on their sides or backs too?

Our DS is also 4.5 months and has not rolled over yet. He does manage to get onto his side but doesn't get all the way over. I'm glad this question was posted, I was wondering the same thing!

I think he meant that when babies used to sleep on their tummies (I know they don't anymore) that they used to roll over earlier. I'm not really sure why he mentioned co-sleeping actually...maybe because mom and dad are right there so baby doesn't need to roll over to see them?

Lucas is another non-roller. I decided a while ago that I didn't care if he missed a few milestones as he can't be advanced at everything! He does the side thing a lot when he's playing with his feet or when he's trying to belly up to the bar.

We had our 4 month appointment last week (at 4.5 months) and our ped wasn't concerned at all.

My neice is 6 mo and she just rolled over for the first time the other day. Sean was consistently rolling over and now he doesn't so much. He tends to do the airplane when he is on his stomach and he'll fuss for me to flip him over when he wants to lay a different way. He stopped rolling around the time he started sitting up. I think he is working on one thing at a time.

Elliot doesn't roll either. He did about a dozen times at 8 weeks (I even have pictures), but he hasn't since then. I think his belly gets in the way, because he sure tries.

I'm really not concerned either. He's 5-1/2 mos.

Charlie doesn't fully roll over either. She can get almost there but her arm is always tucked under her and she never fully comes to her tummy. I think she just doesn't like tummy time, why roll if it makes you do something you have no interest in doing? I'm not worried though and our doctor didn't even ask about it at the four month check up (she's 4.5 months now).

DD didn't start rolling over until a few weeks after her 4 mos WBV. Our ped told us her daughter didnt start rolling until 7 months!

Now I am wondering when DD will be sitting up.

My ds started rolling a few days ago. Mostly tummy to back, but sometimes back to tummy.
