Sizing for longies ?

So what is the typical sizing (waist, inseam, and waist to crotch) for longies for a new born? For a 3-6 month old? 6-9 month old? I started cd'ing dd at 10 months, and started wool even later. I am making shorts, capri's and pants for her now, but have no clue how big I should make them for our next baby? Can someone measure their kiddos for me? TIA

I can't really help you with measurements... but I "cheat" with my longies, which makes them usable for longer.
-I do a drawstring waist, so the waist measurement doesn't matter as much.
-I do a high rise (waist-to-crotch), which when baby is smaller helps keep the belly warm, and makes them fit longer at the same time.
-I roll them at the bottom of the leg, if needed, to make a cuff. When baby grows, just unroll the cuff and they're instantly longer

Using these cheats, I've been able to use one pair of longies for both my own DS, who's 8 months and 17 lbs, and my nephew, who's 11 months and 27 lbs!
