i've been sort of AWOL here on the DDC but i need advice. we're having the baby thursday at the latest (please scar, please don't weaken any further!) and i'd really like a name in mind before the baby comes. problem? i'm perhaps THE most indecisive person on earth.

looking mostly for associations when you hear the name, suggestions for middle names, other suggestions, anything i guess. :

Well, I just checked baby name wizard and abigail is listed as a sibling name for Noah. The others are Hannah, Maya, Chloe and Ivy. Abigail is getting pretty popular though, so I voted for Elise. To me it has the same old-fashioned feel but is much less popular

I voted for Madeline, but I like Elise equally well. All of your choices would be beautiful, though. Not much help, am I?

Good luck with your birth! I will be sending strong scar vibes to you!

Madeline Elise or Abigail Elise.

I LOVE Maddie or Abbey for both of those names. Too bad DH wouldn't cooperate. Being on our fourth and not knowing what we're having has made the name choosing very difficult for us this time. Life would be so much simpler if I could just choose without DH!!

They are all nice, except that I don't care for Lillith. Several of them are rather popular, so if that bothers you, I'd not use them (specifically Abigail). I voted for Elise, which is pretty, classy, and not overused.

Well, I like Natalie. Actually, I like them all, but Natalie is one we considered.

What about Natalie Elisabeth?

As for actually naming the baby, we didn't have the name thing hashed out before Ruth arrived, but as soon as she was born DH asked me what we should name her and Ruth Evelyn (which was another we were considering but couldn't agree on) just seemed right. And this is from a person who took almost two weeks to name each dog we have.

Good luck!
