chapter books about brothers

I am looking for chapter books to read to my ds (7) about brothers - you know stories about brothers looking out for each other,e tc...he can handle pretty advanced books when they are read aloud to him. TIA

Farmer Boy has a lot of brother interaction -- it's Laura Ingalls Wilder's book about her husband's childhood. Also, The Great Brain books are great!

E. Nesbit's books have lots of sets of 4 children. Sorry, thinking outloud...

Oh, I remember now! Eleanor Estes's books about the Moffats. Also Elizabeth Enright's books, "The Four-Storey Mistake" and others. Great books about siblings cooperating and there are brothers in those.

Joan Carris's books are about three brothers, each gets his own book. So you get to see the middle brother both as a little brother and as a big brother.

Read most of e. nesbit and we love the moffats. But, haven't heard of Elizabeth enright - thanks!

I always liked The Great Brain series.

I loved the Great Brain series as a kid, I had 2 brothers.

I looked for the CAris books about the brothers but can't find them??? If anyone knows the titles please let me know as we are very interested in this series! Sounds wonderful!
