Besides Walmart or (overpriced) Hancock Fabrics and Michael's, where can I get a bunch of snaps that dont cost $2 for 12? I guess thats just me being cheap, but I like the kind that press on, but want a bigger package. What about the nice plastic white ones that I see on cloth covers? Where can I find those?? Thats what I want!!

That site is awesome! 100 count for 8cents each!! THANK YOU!!!

I got the resin ones they say are the ones you see on diapers, do I need a special tool to put them on, is it just like the hand press I have?

Yes, you need a professional snap press to put those on. I believe those are sold there as well.

Be careful when using a tool that doesn't come with the snaps you buy. Test a few first to be sure that they are working correctly.

I managed to pick up a 12 x 12 ziploc bag full of notions for US$5. I managed to stuff it FULL of snaps, elastic and some stich-witch. I didn't even have to be able to close the bag! I can't recall the store name, it was at a Factory Outlet strip mall in Ferndale WA.

If you don't have the cash for a snap press (they're pricey - mine was $80), try out www.snapsource.com. The snaps are high quality, a good price, and they have a snap setting tool that is more reliable and easier to use than most.

There are also WAHMs who offer snap setting services. I think Beth at http://diapercuts.com/ does.
